Milan

Milan is a movement teacher with a diverse background in martial arts, Capoeira, and evolutionary biology. He began his journey in movement at the age of six with Shito-Ryu Karate, competing internationally as a member of the Hungarian National Junior Team. Milan has been practicing Capoeira for more than 18 years, a journey that captivated him from the start and has deeply influenced his teaching. He has been teaching Capoeira for the past seven years. Milan has developed “Evolutionary Movement,” a method combining his academic training as an evolutionary biologist with a holistic movement approach to the mind-body connection.

Drawing from his own experiences, Milan’s teaching focuses on playfulness and flow as tools for deeper learning while emphasizing nuanced details and accessibility. He also integrates lessons from contemporary dance, yoga, breathwork, and meditation into his practice, reflecting his passion for creating a gentle, accepting, and inclusive environment. In addition to his work as a teacher, Milan holds a Bachelor’s degree in sustainability and is completing his Master’s in evolution, ecology, and nature conservation.

Outside of movement, he is an avid reader of philosophy, a vegan activist, and a passionate vegan cook. Milan’s approach is deeply inspired by the belief that movement is an integral part of our nature and a pathway to connection and exploration.
